Fresher Robotics Engineer (VR & Simulation)
Job Descriptions:
- Assist in building and validating Virtual Reality (VR) environments used for humanoid robot teleoperation and training.
- Develop and maintain simulation scripts to test robot movements, kinematics, and physics before deploying software to physical hardware.
- Work closely with ROS (Robot Operating System) and 3D engines to synchronize virtual models with real-world robotic sensors.
- Test human-machine interfaces (HMI) using VR/AR headsets to ensure low latency and accurate motion tracking.
- Proactively research new simulation tools to improve the efficiency of the robotics development pipeline.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Basic experience or strong interest in 3D game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine).
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#, C++, or Python).
- Nice to have: Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Gazebo simulation, or VR/AR hardware.
- Ability to verbal and written communicate and explain technical issues in English with the collaborating scrum teams.
- High responsibility and good team-work.
- An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude.
